For many years now an international tournament for amateur beach volley is held in the Catalonian city of Calella. The year 2011 will certainly be a special one as it will witness the 19th International Beach Volley Open of Calella.
This event will allow you to combine in one unique holiday the best of tourism, culture, the sun, the sea and your favorite sport: beach volley!
The tournament will take place in June, taking advantage of the best weather to enjoy a fun-packed sports holiday at the Costa Brava, where your team will compete against other teams from all over the world.
All you need is a group of friends, fellow students or work colleagues provided they are all beach volley enthusiasts, and a few days' vacation.
Your team will enjoy a week on Catalan beaches and test itself in an international beach volley tournament.
